TERMS OF SERVICE
The terms governing use of this site.
Plain-English terms covering who operates the site, what is sold, the licence you receive when you buy a toolkit, and how disputes are handled.
1. Who we are
This site (mikefraser.me) and the digital toolkits sold from it are operated by Horizon Workflow Limited, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 15898019), whose registered office is at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. We refer to ourselves as "we", "us", or "mikefraser.me" in these terms. We refer to you, the visitor or buyer, as "you".
Mike Fraser is the founder and sole shareholder of Horizon Workflow Limited and provides the editorial voice, the methodology, and the deliverables behind every toolkit.
2. What is sold
This site sells digital toolkits. Each toolkit is a downloadable bundle of files (typically an Excel workbook, a PowerPoint deck, and a PDF guide, packaged as a ZIP) delivered to you immediately on purchase. There are no physical goods. There is no shipping.
The contents of each toolkit are described on its product page. Where a worked example is included, the numbers are illustrative composite data, not data from any single client or business.
3. Merchant of record
All purchases on this site are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited as the merchant of record. Paddle is the legal seller of the toolkit for tax and contract purposes. Your purchase invoice, your right of refund, and your statutory consumer protections are governed by Paddle's standard buyer terms, which are available at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.
Horizon Workflow Limited supplies the toolkit content to Paddle and receives net proceeds from Paddle. We are not the seller of the toolkit on your invoice.
4. Licence to use the toolkit
When you buy a toolkit you receive a licence to use it. The licence type is shown on the product page and on your receipt. Two licence types are currently offered:
- Single-business licence. The toolkit may be used inside one trading entity (one company, partnership, or sole-trader business). Any number of individuals working for that entity may use the toolkit, on any number of devices, indefinitely.
- Team or multi-client licence. The toolkit may be used to deliver work for multiple client businesses, for example by an accountancy practice, advisory firm, or fractional executive. There is no per-client fee. The licence-holder remains the buying entity.
The licence does not permit resale of the toolkit, redistribution of the toolkit files (including upload to file-sharing services or public storage), or repackaging of any part of the toolkit content as a separate product. You may share specific outputs you produce using the toolkit (a completed Excel tab, a customised slide) inside your client engagement without restriction; you may not share the blank templates or worked examples.
5. Intellectual property
All content of the toolkits and the site, including methodology, copy, slide designs, Excel formulae and structure, and the underlying frameworks, is the intellectual property of Horizon Workflow Limited. You retain ownership of any work product you produce using the toolkit.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site or any toolkit content for unlawful purposes, not to attempt to circumvent the licence terms above, and not to use the toolkits to provide a substantially identical service under another brand.
7. Warranties and accuracy
Each toolkit is delivered as-is. We make reasonable efforts to ensure that benchmarks, methodology, illustrative data, and worked examples are accurate at the time of release. Benchmarks and regulatory references date over time and are reviewed at least annually. The toolkits are decision-support tools; outcomes depend on the data and judgement you apply to them. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the supply of a toolkit is limited to the amount you paid for that toolkit. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under English law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
9. Refunds
The refund policy is set out separately at mikefraser.me/refunds. In summary: 30 calendar days, no questions asked, processed by Paddle back to your original payment method.
10. Privacy and data
How we handle personal data is set out at mikefraser.me/privacy. The privacy policy forms part of these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL. Material changes do not apply retrospectively to toolkits already purchased.
12. Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them, are governed by the law of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Contact
For anything that is not a payment, invoice, or refund question (those are best handled by Paddle directly), email hello@mikefraser.me.
